Salas is a NYC-based media professional who can regularly be seen contributing as a lifestyle expert with US Hispanic television programming while in tandem providing strategic public relations counsel to Fortune 500 clients as a senior publicist. Industries of expertise include fashion, footwear, retail, food and beverage, lifestyle and hospitality. Past and current clients include Amazon, eBay, Diageo and more; work through which he has led brand launches and collaborations at New York Fashion Week and Pitti Uomo, in addition to producing more than 120 presentations for luxury names including Calvin Klein, Proenza Schouler, Tiffany & Co, Phillip Lim and more. Salas’ roots in communication began at San Antonio’s Univision affiliate, KWEX-41, as a member of the Emmy Award-winning project, Proyecto U. Salas holds a Master of Science in public relations from Boston University, a BA in journalism from Texas A&M University-San Antonio and an associate’s in radio, television and broadcasting from San Antonio College.
